The project is located within the dense orchard context of Mandrem. The design evolves from the site itself, where spaces are carefully carved out between the existing trees to create a dining environment immersed in nature. An earthy palette and the use of locally sourced materials strengthen the project’s connection to its surroundings.
The main dining space is softly connected to a mezzanine level through an off-centered roof form that attains a parametric shell-like geometry, sheltering the spaces beneath it. The roof incorporates semi-open tiles that allow gentle natural light to filter through, creating a visually light atmosphere with playful patterns of light and shadow. The project also includes an outdoor kitchen and bar that continue the same earthy material language, creating a seamless relationship between architecture and landscape.
