The proposed design for Khau Galli, Roha creates a vibrant public food space comprising seven food stalls, a café, and a central food court sheltered by a tensile structure. The design responds sensitively to the climatic and contextual conditions of Shivshrushti Park through strategic building orientation, sun shading, and wind-responsive roof planning. An elevated corridor enhances the visitor experience by visually connecting users to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the surrounding landscape. The use of black stone masonry with a contrasting tensile structure creates a minimal yet contemporary architectural language, while thoughtfully integrated public amenities establish a durable, low-maintenance, and contextually responsive architectural identity.
